Equestrian Lessons
Our Academy riders learn on our ten to fifteen seasoned, safe, and experienced suitable lesson horses and ponies. Priorities in all our horse programs are safety, happiness, horsemanship, the proper foundations, and the basics of riding.
A lease or purchase of a horse or the SFF Advanced Academy is the next step after graduating from Bridle Club. Since only 1 is required, these are year-round plus commitments, and for the more serious horseman and equestrian athlete to continue to heighten and advance their skills and levels. These options require a higher level of commitment from parents and guardians.
The Advanced Horse Academy at SFF is made for the more intermediate or advanced teen/adult riders who can not lease, purchase, or show regularly, but still want to lesson on more advanced horses with the opportunities provided to work on advanced flat work and jump lessons. Riders must handle barn chores each lesson day and be involved monthly in lesson horse TLC and SFF semesterly workdays. They also have to help at or show 1x/ semester minimum, and at the SFF barn show, or schooling/local show. Please understand that there is limited space available in the Advanced Academy.
